Beauty Haul: Asian Cosmetics #2

So, here is the second part of the belated Asian cosmetics haul, I wasn’t going to post about it after so long, but I had the photos and the video, so...
I’m torn about some of the things, but I’m very happy with most of them.
After a week using the Missha BB cream, I decided to try one more, that’s why I bought two more. The others things I bought them out of curiosity, and like I said, I ended really liking most of them.

Aquí está la segunda parte del haul de cosmética asiática de hace casi un año, no iba a hacerlo, pero como ya tenía las fotos y el video, en fin...
Algunas cosas no me convencieron, pero estoy muy contenta con la mayoría.
Luego de una semana usando la BB cream de Missha, decidí que quería probar otras, por eso compré dos más. Las otras cosas las compré por curiosidad, y como ya dije, me gustaron casi todas!

Daiso Charcoal Face Mask Blackhead Pore Remover 80g. - A charcoal mask (hence the black color) that removes black and white heads (and some fine hair, too) that you can wear on your whole face or just on the problematic areas. Leave until it’s dry and peel it off. Very gentle on the face, but not really working for me.  /  Es una mascarilla de carbón (de ahí que sea negra) que nos libra de las espinillas (y algunos pelillos también) y que puede ser usada tanto en toda la cara como sólo en las zonas más problemáticas. Dejar hasta que seca y despegarla. Es bastante suave, pero en mi caso no funciona.

Etude House Silk Scarf Repair Hair Essence 60ml. (other seller) - An awesome (yeah, by now I feel like Dean, LOL!) smelling hair essence, quite oily I must say, that moisturizes the hair and coats split ends. I actually love it!  /  Una esencia para el cabello con un olor alucinante, bastante aceitoso debo decir, que hidrata y cierra las puntas abiertas. Me encanta!

Lioele Triple the Solution BB Cream 50ml. - A BB cream with medium to high coverage with beige undertone, that whitens the skin, treats wrinkles and has an SPF30 PA++. It is said to be great for oily skin, and while I haven’t use it much, I can say it definitely leaves a matte finish.  /  Es una BB cream de cobertura media/alta con subtono beige, que unifica el tono de la piel, trata las arrugas y tiene un factor de protección solar 30 PA++. Se dice que está indicada para pieles grasas, y aunque no la he usado mucho, definitivamente puedo decir que deja la piel mate.

Skin Food Good Afternoon BB Cream, Berry Berry Tea #1 Light Beige 30g. - A very natural looking BB cream from the “Good Afternoon” series, this being oriented to wrinkle care. It has an SPF35 PA++ and has a beige undertone. Is very lightweight so the coverage is quite light and doesn’t cover acne marks but totally evens out the skin tone giving a very natural look.  /  Es una BB cream con acabado muy natural y es de la serie “Good Afternoon”, esta está orientada a tratar las arrugas. Tiene un factor de protección solar 35 PA++ y es de subtono beige. Es muy ligera así que el acabado es de cobertura baja, y aunque no cubre marcas de acné realmente unifica el tono de la piel haciéndola lucir muy natural.

Esther Calma for diKsí Summer 2013

I was making my collage for today's "Thursday's Favourites" and realized I never blogged about this Spanish shoe designer; Esther Calma.

Below it's her story told by Esther herself on her web, and under that that the Summer 2013 collection she designed for the clothes brand diKsí.
There isn't one I don't like, they are all so beautiful, but some more than others!

Estaba yo haciendo tan contenta el collage para mis favoritos del día de hoy y fue cuando me di cuenta que nunca había bloggeado sobre esta diseñadora de calzado Española; Esther Calma.

Debajo le dejo su historia escrita por ella misma en su web, y mas abajo la colección Verano 2013 que ha creado para la marca de ropa diKsí.
No hay uno solo que no me guste, son todos preciosos, pero algunos mas que otros!

" I was born in Guadalajara and ever since I was a little girl I spent long hours drawing, a habit which I continue to do today. 

When I was in school, I used to draw high heel shoes in the margins of my books. I was only seven, when I showed up to class wearing a pair of high heels. When my mum found out she was shocked but she graciously allowed me to wear hers at home.

I have always known that I would be a shoe designer, which is why I took up fashion studies in Madrid and specialized in shoe design in Elda.

I currently have two pairs of shoes on display Elda's Shoe Museum. One pair was inspired by a witch and the other pair, which was awarded with the Premio Internacional Lapiz de Oro 2006, was inspired by a cat. 

I have worked as a shoe designer for Zara, Sfera and Blanco and last year, I created my own brand, Esther Calma, making one of my dreams come true."

" Nací en Guadalajara y desde pequeña me pasaba las horas dibujando. Confieso que ahora cuando puedo, sigo haciendo lo mismo. 

En el colegio dibujaba zapatos de tacón en los márgenes de los libros, hasta que un día con 7 años… ¡Fui a clase con tacones! Imaginad la cara de mi madre cuando lo descubrió. Tuvo que dejarme unos suyos para estar por casa.

Siempre tuve claro que quería ser diseñadora de zapatos. Por eso estudié diseño de moda en Madrid y me especialicé en diseño de calzado en Elda. 

Actualmente tengo dos zapatos en el Museo del Calzado de esta localidad, uno inspirado en una bruja y otro (Primer Premio Internacional Lápiz de Oro en 2006) en un gato.

Review: Baviphat Apple All-in-One Peeling Gel.

It’s been a few months since I wanted to write this review, because it’s a product I really liked; the Baviphat Apple All-in-One Peeling Gel.

Hace meses que quiero hacer este review, porque es un producto que me ha gustado mucho; el Apple All-in-One Peeling Gel de Baviphat.

What it says it is:
An “all in one” peeling gel that has a clean exfoliating effect.

“All in One” means it has:

- Exfoliating effect.

- Pore care.

- Moisturizing effect.

This type of gel effectively removes dead skin cells and waste inside the pores by containing a natural cellulose ingredient.

Apple extract moisturizes the dried skin after removing dead skin cells.

Recommended for: All skin types.

Main Ingredients: Apple extract.

Quantity: 100 gr.

Que dice que es:
Es un gel exfoliante “todo en uno” que exfolia la piel hasta dejarla limpia.

“Todo en uno” significa que tiene:

- Efecto exfoliante.

- Cuidado de los poros.

- Efecto hidratante.

Este tipo de gel remueve con eficacia las células muertas y la suciedad de los poros gracias a un ingrediente natural, celulosa.

El extracto de manzana hidrata la piel seca luego de remover las células muertas de la piel.

Recomendado para: Todo tipo de pieles.

Ingredientes Principales: Extracto de manzana.

Cantidad: 100 gr.

How to Use:
After washing the face, apply suitable amount onto wet skin, except for eyes and lips.
Gently massage the face for exfoliating, then wash off with warm water.
1 or 2 days a week depending on the skin type.

Application & Texture: The application is quite uncomfortable for me due to its texture; it won’t stick to your skin, and you’ll find yourself juggling with the little balls of product formed by friction.
You won’t need a lot of product, since you’ll never get to cover your whole face with it, so little quantity is advised.

Even if it’s supposed to be a gel, for it has a grated apple mask consistency. It’s really fresh and contains a lot of water.
Due to its high water content, it will consume if you open it and don’t use it for a while and the product will become compacted; that’s why I recommend being constant with it and store it in a fresh place where the sun won’t reach it.

Modo de Uso:
Luego de lavar la cara, aplicar la cantidad adecuada sobre el rostro húmedo salvo por los ojos y los labios.
Masajear suavemente para exfoliar y luego quitar con agua tibia.
Usar 1 o 2 veces por semana dependiendo del tipo de piel.

Aplicación y Textura: La aplicación para mi es lo más incómodo de todo por su textura; no se adhiere a la cara y tenemos que hacer malabares para que no se nos escapen las bolitas que se van formando al frotar contra nuestra piel.
No hace falta coger demasiado producto ya que nunca lograremos extenderlo por nuestra piel, con un poquito es más que suficiente.

Su textura, si bien se llama gel, para mi es como una mascarilla de manzana rallada. Es super fresca y contiene bastante agua.
Debido a su gran contenido de agua, esta se irá consumiendo si se deja abierto y sin usar durante un tiempo y el producto quedará apelmazado; así que mi recomendación es ser constantes con el producto y dejarlo en un lugar fresco donde no le dé el sol.

 

Perfume & Colour: Its perfume it’s pretty characteristic, it smell of green apples, but I should warn you, since the smell it’s quite strong and artificial, although it doesn’t bother me at all.
 It has a really soft green colour, I don’t think it’s natural, so it most probably contains colorants.

Perfume y Color: Su perfume es muy característico, huele a manzana verde, pero he de avisar que el olor es bastante fuerte y muy artificial, aunque a mi no me molesta en lo absoluto.
Y su color es un verde manzana muuuuy clarito, pero se ve que no es natural, así que seguro tiene colorante.

Personal Impressions: I haven’t tried many peeling products, but this one is not aggressive at all, and my skin is pretty sensitive.
After using it, your face is fresh and you can totally feel how it breathes, even though it doesn’t clean all the pores in my nose (they are quite reckless).
I recommend using cold water on your face after washing the gel off, the pores will look tightened and you’ll feel your face radiant, soft and moisturized.

PROS:
✔ A little goes a long way.
✔ It’s refreshing
✔ It’s not aggressive.
✔ Soft skin.
✔ Spatula included.
✔ Apple smell (it could bother some people).

CONS:
✖ Doesn’t clean reckless pores.
✖ It dries after being opened for a while.
✖ The application.

Would I buy it again?
Probably yes, but I’d like to try others first.

Impresiones Personales: No he probado demasiados exfoliantes, pero he de decir que este no me ha parecido nada agresivo, y yo tengo piel muy sensible.
Luego de usarlo la cara se queda fresca y se siente como respira, aunque los poros de la nariz no los termina de limpiar del todo bien (los tengo muy rebeldes).
Recomiendo, luego de quitar el producto, mojarnos con agua fría, los poros se ven cerraditos y la piel radiante, suave e hidratada.


PROS:
✔ Cunde mucho.
✔ Es refrescante.
✔ No es agresivo.
✔ Deja la piel muy suave.
✔ Espátula para coger el producto.
✔ El olor a manzana (esto podría molestar a algunas personas).

CONS:
✖ No limpia los poros más rebeldes.
✖ El agua del producto se consume sola.
✖ La aplicación.

Volvería a comprarlo?
Probablemente sí, pero primero me gustaría probar otros.

I've been holding myself to make this post, I took these photos more than a month ago and I wanted to also write a few thoughts of mine, and this is exactly what delayed me from posting the photo-set, because I'm not too sure how to convey these thoughts of mine, so I'll leave them for another day.

I bought this skirt in Tokyo back in 2010, and while it was always a dream skirt of mine, I never got to wear it, mostly because I didn't have the clothes I wanted to wear it with.
But since I had this skirt for sale for a while, and I didn't wanted to sell it without having worn it, I turned my perspective completely around, and went for something totally different. Something that appeared in my mind like something a girl wanting to be a "Magical Girl" would wear (yeah, don't mind me, I'm crazy).

So, yeah! This is not strictly Lolita Fashion, but it's not to far from it either. So, let's leave to "Magical Girl Wannabe Fashion" xD.

*the skirt was sold a few weeks later, so it's no longer with me. it felt so bad parting with it, but i hope her new owner loves it how it deserves!

Me he estado conteniendo un poco de escribir este post, estas fotos fueron hechas hace mas de un mes y quería acompañarlas de algunos pensamientos personales, y esta es la razón por la que me he retrasado y nunca había posteado las fotos, porque no estoy muy segura de como transmitir estos pensamientos, así que eso lo dejaré para otro día.

Compré esta falda en Tokyo en el 2010, y mientras que siempre fue una "dream skirt" para mi, nunca la usé, básicamente porque no tenía la ropa que quería usar con ella.
Pero como la había puesto en venta hacía ya un tiempo, y no quería venderla sin haberla usado, cambié mi perspectiva completamente, y me decidí por algo totalmente distinto. Algo que se me vino la cabeza como algo que llevaría una niña que quiere ser una "Magical Girl" (si, no me hagan caso, estoy loca).

Así que nada! No es estrictamente Moda Lolita, pero tampoco está muy alejado. Dejémoslo en "Magical Girl Wannabe Fashion" xD.

*la falda se vendió semanas después, así que ya no está conmigo. me sentí tan mal dejándola ir, pero espero que su nueva dueña le de el amor que necesita!

No creen que es una colección preciosa? Yo si, y me hubiese gustado comprar más cositas, pero bueno, estoy muy contenta y no aguanto mas a que me lleguen y así poder mostrarles!
