Etude House has been teasing us with its new spring/summer collection, Color Pop, since May started, and today, 15th May, it finally launched!

Etude House nos ha estado tentando con la nueva colección primavera/verano, Color Pop, desde que entramos en Mayo, y hoy, por fin se ha lanzado al mercado!

It’s a very colourful collection, full of vibrant orange colors and their complementary emerald greens and blues. The collection is actually quite big and has lipsticks, lip-tints, eye pencils and nail polishes.

Es una colección muy colorida, llena de tonos naranja vibrantes y sus esmeraldas y azules complementarios. La colección es bastante grande, con labiales, tintes labiales, lápices de ojos y esmaltes de uñas.

These are very soft with a creamy texture pencils, waterproof and perfect for sensitive eyes thanks to the coconut oil and vitamin E.

Este era el producto que más ganas tenía de ver, lamentablemente leí algunas reviews y los swatches no son lo que esperaba de ellos.

If you are into fashion, beauty products or art in general, you’ll know that Emerald is the Pantone colour of the year, so it’s not rare to see it everywhere, including this collection. And this range of blues and greens happen to be complementary to the oranges of the lipsticks.

Si les gusta la moda, los productos de belleza o el arte en general, sabrán que el Esmeralda es que color Pantone del año, así que no es raro verlo en todas partes, incluida este colección. Y estas gamas de azules y verdes resultan ser los complementarios de los naranjas de los labiales.
Y como vienen en 10 tonos diferentes, Etude House recomienda comprarlos todos (bien ahí, EH... ¬¬) y llevar el efecto degradado en las uñas al siguiente nivel!

Like I said at the beginning, I really wanted to try the eye pencils but after seeing the swatches I’m confident saying they are not worth it.
 And even if the colours of the nail polishes are all super pretty, I won’t be buying any of them.

The lipsticks and lip tints are a different thing, they are all so pretty that I wish I could buy them all, sadly I don’t have money for any of them, but if I could I would go with the stronger shades, like I said, super pretty!!!

So tell me..., will you be buying anything from this collection, do you like it, what do you think?

Como dije al principio, tenía muchas gana de probar los lápices de ojos, pero luego de ver los swatches no creo que valgan la pena.
Y aunque los colores de las lacas de uñas son super bonitos, no compraré ninguno.

Los labiales y los tintes son otra cosa, son todos tan bonitos que me gustaría comprarlos todos, lamentablemente no tengo dinero ni para uno solos, pero si pudiera elegiría los colores más oscuros, como dije, super bonitos!!!

Así que diganme..., van a comprar algo de esta colección, les gusta, que piensan de ella?

By now you might have probably realized that I cut my fringe once again, I wasn't so sure about it since I wasn't too happy last time I cut it.
I normally cut it myself but I'm not really that skillful so I'm never satisfied with it. But this time I was quite happy of the outcome! I'll try to keep it this way, although most of the times I get too lazy and let it grow, hahaha!

As you can see, I've been getting quite addicted to making animated gifs of my looks, I think it's a cute way of showing how the clothes look in motion without it being a video, and how odd and funny I behave while my son takes my photos. And you will also notice some weird facial expressions, well, let me tell you that's the real me! I swear I make all these faces all the times (my husband says my face is made of play dough), especially when the sun blinds me like the day we took these photos; we got almost zero decent photos, which is why I decided to post these, I hope you can appreciate my silliness.

Supongo que ya se habrán dado cuenta que me he vuelto a cortar el flequillo, no estaba muy segura ya que la última vez que lo corté no quedé muy conforme que digamos.
Normalmente me lo corto yo misma, pero no soy muy habilidosa así que nunca quedo satisfecha. Pero esta vez me gustó mucho como me quedó! Trataré de mantenerlo así, aunque la mayoría de las veces me da vagancia y termino dejándolo crecer, jajaja!

Como verán, me he vuelto un poquito adicta a esto de los gifs animados en mis looks, me parece que es una bonita manera de mostrar la ropa en movimiento sin que sea un video, y lo raro y gracioso que me comporto mientras mi hijo me hace las fotos. También notarán algunas expresiones faciales extrañas, bueno, déjenme decirles que así soy yo! Juro que me la paso haciendo caras raras todo el tiempo (mi marido dice que mi cara es de plastilina), especialmente cuando el sol me ciega como el día que hicimos estas fotos; casi no salieron fotos decentes, por lo cual decidí postear estas, espero puedan apreciar mi locura.

{ BEAUTY REVIEW } Daiso Charcoal Peel-off Mask.

The review of the “Daiso Charcoal Peel-off Mask” took me a while to write since I wanted it to be super complete as I was pretty excited to try the product, but as I already explained on the haul video, was quite disappointing taking its fame into account.

What it says it is:
Formulated with the natural ingredients from Oak trees, it removes oils and all dirt and deeply clean the pore, leaving your skin clearer with less visible pores.

Tardé en escribir la reseña de la “Charcoal Peel-off Mask de Daiso” porque quería que fuese completa, y es que estaba muy ilusionada con el producto, pero como ya expliqué en el video del haul, fue un poco decepcionante teniendo en cuenta la buena fama que tiene.

Que dice que es:
Formulado con los ingredientes naturales del Roble, remueve la grasa y suciedad, y limpia el poro en profundidad, dejando la piel más limpia y con menos poros visibles.

Ingredientes: Water, Polyvinyl alcohol, Ethanol (alcohol), Charcoal, Magnesium aluminum silicate, Crystalline cellulose, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil Methylparaben, Cortex mori extract, Xanthan Gum, Butylparaben, EDTA - 2Na

• Charcoal is most recognized for cooking at barbecues, but it also has a very healthy effect in keeping the body healthy.
• Charcoal is often used to help detoxify chemicals within the body to prevent any poison from spreading further.
• Charcoal powder is one of the traditional raw ingredients that Japanese women use to nourish their skin over the centuries.
• It is economical yet effective in removing stubborn impurities & dead skin cells.
• Natural Pack’s mask is made from the purest charcoal extracts available with the advanced cosmetic processing techniques from Korea.


Recommended for: All skin types.

Quantity: 80 gr.

Price: Ranges from 2€ to 10€ depending the shop, but at Daiso in Japan it only costs 1€. (Bought it here although the shop is empty atm, but you can find it here too, but let me tell you I never bought form this seller).


How to Use:
After cleansing your face, evenly apply on the nose area and let it dry for 10~15 minutes.
If completed dried out, peel it off starting at the bottom, pulling towards the top.
Wash your face with cold water to clean the residues and close the pores.
* Do not use more than twice per week.
* For sensitive skin, apply facial essence before using, and slowly peel it off starting at the top towards the bottom.

I also recommend that after peeling it off and wash the residues away, to apply lotion or moisturiser as it leaves the skin pretty dry.

 Caution:
- Do not use if you have any skin trouble such as scratches, swelling or eczema.
- If any irritation occur, stop using it and consult with a doctor.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Do not apply on eyes or lips zones.
- Having it on your eyes please wash it immediately.
- Remove the residue with water after peeling it off from your face.

Precio: De 2€ a 10€ dependiendo el lugar, tengan en cuenta que el producto cuesta 1€ en Japón, pero ya se sabe que a nosotros nos toca jorobarnos. (Comprado aquí aunque ahora mismo la tienda está vacía, también lo tienen aquí, aunque les aviso que nunca he comprado a este vendedor).

Modo de Uso:
Luego de lavar la cara, aplicar de forma pareja en la zona de la nariz y dejar secar de 10~15 minutos.
Una vez completamente seca, despegar empezando por la parte inferior, tirando hacia arriba.
Enjuagar con agua fría para quitar los restos y cerrar los poros.
* No usar más de 1 o 2 veces por semana.
* En caso de piel sensible, aplicar tónico facial antes de la mascarilla, lentamente despegar de arriba hacia abajo.

También recomiendo que luego de quitar la mascarilla y los restos, apliquemos tónico o hidratante, ya que deja la piel muy seca.


Precauciones: 
- No usar en caso de problemas en la piel tales como raspones, inflamaciones o eczema.
- Si luego de usar el producto la piel queda irritada, dejar de usar y consultar a un médico.
- Mantener fuera del alcance de los niños.
- No aplicar en la zona de los ojos ni los labios.
- En caso de contacto directo con los ojos enjuagar de inmediato.
- Remover los restos con agua luego de despegarla.

Packaging: The product comes in a simple white plastic tube with a black screw cap and a cute sticker.
I really appreciate it come sealed so you can be sure it wasn’t opened before.
The instructions and description of the product come written in Japanese and English in the back of the tube.

Envase: El producto viene en un tubo simple de plástico blanco con una tapa negra a rosca y una bonita pegatina.
Me gusta que venga sellado así te aseguras que nadie lo abrió antes.
Las instrucciones y descripción vienen en Japonés e Inglés en la parte trasera del tubo.

Application & Texture: Is very easy to apply, even though is quite liquid just like a body lotion, it’s also quite sticky which prevents it to drip from our faces.
The instructions states “apply on the nose area”, but if we take a look at the packaging sticker, it’s applied all over the face: so taking into account that there is an exclusive nose pack on the market, I imagine you can use this one all over the face depending on where your problematic pores are located.
And even if the instructions don’t state it either, I recommend steam your face before applying the mask so the pores will be open and the product will work better.



Perfume & Colour: It’s as black as charcoal and has a pretty strong artificial flowery scent, probably to mask the alcohol stench which you can smell anyways.
It’s not terrible, but if you don’t like strong artificial or alcohol scents, stay away from this product!

Aplicación y Textura: Es muy sencilla de aplicar, y es que a pesar de ser bastante líquida como una loción corporal es a la vez muy pegajosilla lo que evita que se vaya escurriendo de la cara.
 En las instrucciones dice claramente “aplicar en la zona de la nariz”, pero si miramos la pegatina del envase está aplicado por toda la cara; y teniendo en cuenta que hay una mascarilla exclusiva para la nariz, imagino que esta se puede usar en toda la cara dependiendo donde tengamos los poros más problemáticos.
Y aunque en las instrucciones no lo dice, mi recomendación es que antes de aplicar la mascarilla, nos demos vapor en la cara o nos apliquemos una toalla caliente para que los poros se abran y el producto funcione mejor.


Perfume y Color: Es de color negro como el carbón y tiene un perfume bastante fuerte como floral queriendo ocultar el olor a alcohol que igualmente se siente.
No llega a ser desagradable salvo que no les guste el olor a alcohol u olores intensos.

Personal Impressions: Even though the packaging is pretty simple, it’s quite easy to use, plus you can cut it out easily to make the most of the product.
It’s really easy to use and pretty fun too and you can totally do other things while wearing it since it won’t fall from your face.
Sadly it didn’t work as good as I hoped, ‘cause even if it takes the dead skin cells away and leaves the skin smooth, it didn’t deeply clean my pores as promised.

Impresiones Personales: El envase es muy simple pero fácil de usar, a parte cuando queda poco se puede cortar a la mitad y aprovechar todo el producto.
Es muy fácil de usar y hasta divertido, aparte se pueden hacer otras cosas mientras lo llevas puesto ya que no se desprende de la cara.
Lamentablemente debo decir que no me ha funcionado, porque si bien limpia la cara de piel muerta y la deja bastante suave, los poros no me los limpia en profundidad.

PROS: 
✔ Easy to use.
✔ Goes a long way.
✔ It’s not aggressive.
✔ Leaves the skin smooth.
✔ English instructions.
✔ Good price.

CONS: 
✖ Won’t clean the pores in depth.
✖ Stenches of alcohol and artificial scent.
✖ Leaves skin pretty dry.

Would I buy it again?
Definitely no! I’d like to try some nose strips.

PROS:
✔ Fácil de usar.
✔ Cunde bastante.
✔ No es agresivo.
✔ Deja la piel suave.
✔ Instrucciones en inglés.
✔ Buen precio.

CONS:
✖ No limpia los poros más rebeldes.
✖ Olor muy fuerte a alcohol y artificial.
✖ Deja la piel muy seca.

Volvería a comprarla?
Definitivamente no! Me gustaría probar las tiras específicas para nariz.

Yesterday I wanted to grab my camera and go out since it was such a beautiful day, but I couldn't.
So this morning, after seeing my son off to school and walking the dogs, I dressed up, grabbed my cameras, and headed to the forest. This is actually the best time to go to the forest since is all green and full of wild flowers, which is hard to see since it's pretty arid around here.
I lied on the green grass surrounded by pretty flowers, feeling the sun and actually feeling happy even though I got bit by some ants and getting pricked by lots of thorns.
But yeah, happiness felt like that.

Ayer tenía muchas ganas de agarrar la cámara y salir ya que había sido un día precioso, pero no pude.
Así que esta mañana, luego de que mihijo se fuera al cole y de sacar a los perros, me vestí, agarré las cámaras, y me dirigí al bosque. Esta es la mejor época para ir al bosque ya que está todo verde y lleno de flores silvestres, lago difícil de ver ya que por esta zona es muy árida.
Me tiré en la hierba rodeada de flores bonitas, sintiendo el sol y realmente sintiéndome feliz a pesar de haber sido mordida por algunas hormigas y que me pincharan muchas espinas.
Pero sí, sentí felicidad.

And I know I've been the worst "fashion" blogger in the world, and even if taking photos of my looks is what I enjoy the most, I haven't been so active in this department, but the rain and the cold weather wasn't what you would call inviting. The day I took the photos wasn't either, but I sucked it up and took the weather by the balls*!
*note: not really, it was very windy, cold and pouring... =_= 

Anyways, I planned this outfit for Valentine's day, hahahaha!! But I never got to wear it, and this was actually the first time I wore this dress, and I bought it like 2 years ago, it still had the tags!! And to be honest, I was supposed to wear creepers, but spent the money on make-up and couldn't buy them in the end ;_; (Mommy, buy me some Creepers Shoes!!! Mooooommyyyyyy!!!!) xDDD 
So I looked for my Rocking Horse Shoes, which I haven't used for like 4 years, and went out and rocked the town*!

*note: not really, I only went to the library... xDD

Siento no tener nada para regalar, de verdad quería ya que también estoy por alcanzar los 200 seguidores (no me lo creo!!!!) pero estoy TAN pobre ahora mismo... xP
En serio gente, muchísimas gracias por estar por aquí, dejen comentarios o no, realmente aprecio su apoyo!

 Y sé que soy la peor blogger "de moda" del mundo, y que hacer fotos de mis looks es con lo que mas disfruto, no he estado muy activa en este ámbito, pero la lluvia y el tiempo frío no es invitara a salir. El día que hicimos estas fotos tampoco estaba muy lindo que digamos, pero apechugué y agarré al tiempo por el rabo*!  

*nota: en realidad no, estaba muy ventoso, frío y caían gotas... =_= 

Como sea, tenía planeado este conjunto para San Valentín, jajajaja!! Pero nunca llegué a usarlo, de hecho es la primera vez que uso este vestido, y lo compré hace como 2 años, todavía llevaba las etiquetas!! Y para ser sincera, se suponía que debía llevar creepers, pero me gasté el dinero en maquillaje y al final no pude comprarlos ;_; (Mami, comprame Creepers!!! Maaaaamiiiii!!!!) xDDD 
Así que me puse a buscar mis Rocking Horse Shoes, que hacía como 4 años que no usaba, y salí a rockear el pueblo*!
*nota: en realidad no, solo fui a la biblioteca... xDD
