{ Thursday's Favourites } #38

It's been months since I last posted my Thursday's Favourites, but to be honest, instead of inspiration all I get is depression since I can never afford anything I want, hahaha!

But the other day, as I was watching Emi's video of Choies, I went to their site and started creating looks again with some of my favourite pieces from the shop.
It's funny because I don't usually go to this kind of shops because all I ever see are the same mainstream clothes you normally found at most egobloggers blogs, and to tell you the truth, they bore me to death! All of them with the same clothes styled the same way, so for clothes from China I prefer going to Taobao where there is more variety and the clothes I DO like. But since I liked the shirt Emi got, I went to take a peek, and found lots of pretty clothes that suit my tastes.

Hace meses que no hago mi post de Favoritos de los Jueves, pero para ser sincera, en vez de inspirarme me deprimía por no poder comprar nada de lo que me gusta, jajaja!

Pero el otro día viendo el video de Emi sobre Choies, fui a la página y empecé a crear looks con algunas de las cosas que mas me gustaron.
Es curioso porque normalmente no visito estas tiendas estas tiendas porque siempre que veo sus prendas son las típicas cosas de moda en los blogs de las egobloggers, y la verdad es que me me aburren terriblemente! Todas ellas con las mismas prendas llevadas de la misma manera, asi que para ropa de China, prefiero ir a Taobao donde hay mas variedad y ropa que SÍ me gusta. Pero como me gustó la camisa que se pidió Emi, me puse a pispear, y encontré un montón de ropa que me gustó.

I had this dress since the end of 2010 and I only wore once, can you believe it? Which is ridiculous because it's super pretty.
Even if I bought it on winter I can assure you is a summer dress, it's really thin!! But I'm a girl that likes to adapt the clothes to the season and not let the season force me to wear what fashion dictates.
That's why I love turtlenecks! I know many people hates them, but I love them, they are so versatile, comfy and warm, and since I have many colours I can wear them under lots of summer dresses and not being cold!

I didn't realized it when I dressed up, but this is a very Christmasy look, don't you think? Green and red..., hahahaha!! It wasn't on purpose, in that case I would have wore it tomorrow for Christmas Eve.

Anyway, I'm not a very festive person, to be honest I'm the kind that likes Christmas for the gifts, decoration and all things material, so yeah...

Merry X-mas to you people, I hope you have a lovely holiday no matter how you celebrate~~

Me compré este vestido a finales del 2010 y solo lo usé una vez, pueden creerlo? Lo cual es ridículo porque es precioso.
A pesar de haberlo comprado en invierno les aseguro que es un vestido de verano, es muy finito!! Pero soy una chica que le gusta adaptar la ropa a la temporada y no dejar que que la temporada me obligue a usar lo que la moda dicta.
Por eso amo las poleras / cuello cisne! Sé que mucha gente los odia, pero yo los amo, son tan versátiles, cómodos y calentitos, y como tengo tantos colores puedo usarlos debajo de muchos vestidos veraniegos sin pasar frío!

Cuando planee el look no me di cuenta que era muy navideño, no creen? Verde y rojo..., jajaja!! No fue a propósito, en ese caso lo hubiera reservado para mañana, víspera de navidad.


La verdad es que no soy una persona muy festiva, soy del tipo que gustan de la navidad por los regalos, decoraciones y todo lo material, así que...

I can't believe it's been so long since I made a fashion post! I think the last one was back in July. But to be honest, summer was too hot to even go out, and since I had nowhere to go, I stayed at home the whole summer, where I normally wear pyjamas or comfy clothes.

But last weekend I felt like having a mini-picnic with my son (so he could take my photos, mwahahaha!!), and I thought it was a great time to wear this dress my Mom and Bro. sent me for my birthday on August.
I've been wanting a pinafore dress for the longest time, and while I wanted many with patterns and whatnot, I thought a plain one in black would be the smartest choice since I can wear it with everything!

To tell you the truth, I wore the same thing to go to the city the day before, but since I went with my husband, I didn't ask him to take any photos of the look (he's doesn't like to take my fashion photos xP), that's why I didn't mind wearing the same, all for the sake of photos!
As you can see I was feeling a little clowny-like, not that I like clowns, ughhh, I hate them!!! But the thing is I was going for a black X white look when I realized I don't have a black plain bag, and since I was wearing red on my lips, I thought the red bag would match them... The hat, well, I couldn't help it, hahahaha! So yeah..., the "Mime Look" it is!

I'm sorry I haven't been updating often, I'm pretty down these days, I'm not feeling very well, plus my PC is still in a bad shape, and I don't want to force it too much with photoshop or video editing; I hope you understand...

No puedo creer que haya pasado tanto tiempo desde el último post de moda! Creo que fue en Julio. Y es que para ser sincera, el verano fue muy caluroso, y sin tener a donde ir, me quedé en casa el verano entero, donde normalmente uso ropa cómoda.


Pero el finde paado se me antojó ir de picnic con mi hijo (así me hacía las fotos, muajajajaja!!), y me pareció el momento ideal para usar este vestido que me regalaron my Mami y mi Bro. para mi cumpleaños el pasado Agosto.
Llevaba un tiempo queriendo un jumper/pichi, y si bien quería muchos con estampados y esas cosas, creo que negro liso era la mejor opción ya que puedo usarlo con lo que sea!


La verdad es que usé esto mismo el día anterior para ir a la ciudad, pero como fui con mi marido, no le pedí que me hiciera fotos (no le gusta hacerme fotos de los looks xP), por eso no me importó repetir atuendo, todo sea por las fotos!
Como ven me sentía muy payasesca, no crean que me gustan los payasos, ughhh, los odio!!! En realidad el look iba a ser blaco X negro cuando me di cuenta que no tengo ningún bolso negro simple, y como tenía los labios rojos, pensé que un bolso rojo iba a quedar bien... El sombrero, bueno, no pude evitarlo, jajajaja! Asi que eso..., este es el "Look Mimo"!


Quiero disculparme por no actualizar mas seguido, el caso es que estoy un poco "ploff", no me siento bien, y encima el ordenador sigue funcionando raro y no quiero forzarlo mucho con photoshop o editando videos; espero comprendan...

I had these photos for a month or so but never posted them since I'm wearing a sweater, a thin one, but a sweater nonetheless; and now the weather is so hot that every time I take a look at these photos I kinda suffocate xDD But since it's so hot outside to go out and take photos, I'll just post these instead.

Summer holidays are already here!! I bet you didn't notice, duhhh! xDD Sadly I won't go anywhere, plus my son has to study the whole summer if he wants to pass this course.


Anyway, tell me what do you think about this look. Lately I've been wearing converse shoes with everything, I borrowed these from my son. Do you like Chucks? I definitely love them!!

Sacamos estas fotos hace como un mes, pero nunca las compartí proque llevo un sweater, finito, pero sweater al fin y al cabo; y ahora el tiempo está muy caluroso, y de solo verlas me sofoco xDD Pero como fuera hace demasiado calor para salir a tomar fotos, vean estas y listo.

Las vacaciones de verano ya empezaron!! Apuesto que no lo habían notado, duhhh! xDD Lamentablemente no saldré de vacacones, aparte mi hijo tiene que estudiar todo el verano si quiere pasar de curso.

En fin, qué les parece el look? Últimamente he estado usando converse con todo, estas son de mi hijo en realidad. A ustedes les gustan las Chucks? Yo las amo!!

{ Thursday's Favourites } #38 "Wardrobe Crisis Edition".

Here I come again with another special edition of my "Thursday's Favourites" because my crisis regarding clothes and what to wear is still going on; and I'm, of course, still poor and not able to buy any clothes to renew my wardrobe.

If you liked the eclectic looks I posted 2 weeks ago, well, these are more of the same. Some of them are a little too much for the hot days we're going through, but the day I created them on a cold day, plus I really like them!!

So, tell me, do you like them? Would you wear them? Or would you just take a bit from here and there and create something completely new? I think my favourite is Nº3..., or Nº2..., I don't know!!!

Tell me what you think, since I know some of you are very classic when it comes to clothing.

Aquí estoy una vez mas con otra edición especial de mi "Thursday's Favourites" porque todavía estoy en crisis y sigo sin saber que ponerme, y por suepuesto sigo pobre y sin poder comprar ropa para renovar mi armario.

Si les gustaron los looks eclécticos de hace 2 semanas, bueno, estos son del estilo. Algunos son un poquito calurosos para el calor que está haciendo, pero el día que los hice estaba fresco, y aparte me gustan mucho!!

Asi que, díganme, les gustan?  Los usarían? O tomarían una prenda de aquí y otra de allí y armarían algo completamente diferente? Creo que mi favorito es el Nº3..., o el Nº2..., no se!!!

{ Thursday's Favourites } #37 "Wardrobe Crisis Edition"

It's been a while seen I've done this section here in the blog, but lately, fashion is a little boring, ugly and disappointing; that's why I don't really follow fashion or what's "in", or why I don't really like fashion magazines here in the western side of the world (YEAH! I don't like Vogue, sue me! xD) and I prefer most Japanese fashion magazines and style...

Oh yeah, I was saying that I stopped doing this section due to lack of inspiration, but after some weeks delighting my eyes with Japanese magazines and Taobao, I gathered lots of inspiration!

On my last outfit post I said I needed new clothes because mine didn't inspire me much this season, and I'm still feeling exactly the same. That's how I put together this "Wardrobe Crisis Edition" where you'll see 5 different looks I'd like to wear and many clothes I wish I'd own~~ Sadly I have no money at all, and even if tomorrow was my birthday, I never get anything for my birthday xD (I shouldn't complain, I know, because I never give anything for anyone's b-day, but that's because I have no money xP).

Hace bastante que no hago esta sección en el blog, pero es que últimamente la moda está un poco aburrida, fea y decepcionante; es por eso que no sigo la moda o lo que está "de moda", o por que no me gustan las revistas de moda de occidente (SEH! No me gusta Vogue, demándenme! xD) y prefiero las revistas Japonesas y su estilo...

Ah si, a lo que iba..., dejé de hacer esta sección por falta de inspiración, pero luego de algunas semanas deleitando mis ojos con revistas Japonesas y Taobao, reuní bastante inspiración.

En mi último post dije que necesitaba ropa nueva porque la mía no me estaba inspirando esta temporada, y todavía sigo igual. Así es como armé este "Edición Crisis de Armario" donde verán 5 looks diferentes que me gustaría usar y mucha ropa que me gustaría tener~~ Lamentablemente no tengo dinero, e incluso si mi cumpleaños fuese mañana, nunca recibo nada por mi cumpleaños xD (No debería quejarme, lo se, porque nunca regalo nada para los cumpleaños, pero eso es porque no tengo dinero xP).

I must confess how lazy I've been lately when it comes to blogging, not because I don't want to, but because sometimes it's so tiresome to make a post look pretty and to write it in 2 languages that I always say "later, later", then later becomes never, and here I am with photos I took more than ten days ago!!
My son and I went out with his longboard, and even if I tried, I was too scared to ride, because when I was a child I fell from a skateboard and almost broke my tailbone and now I don't feel safe.


Anyway, I don't really have anything to say, but lately I've been feeling uninspired regarding clothes and outfits; I need to renew my wardrobe at least a little, I need new clothes ASAP 'cause I never know what to wear and I always end up wearing the same jeans and tops.
But some days something like the outfit here comes up and I feel happy because I had this shirt for like 15 years, and it used to be my favourite back then. When I came to Spain I didn't bring it with me, so some months ago my mum sent it to me with some other things, and I was so happy to be reunited with my shirt!! (Yep, I have this kind of relationship with clothes, they are friends to me!).
So..., how do you like it??

Debo confesar que últimamente estoy un poco vaga en lo que a bloggear se refiere, y no proque no quiera hacerlo, sino porque porque me agota hacer que un post se vea bonito y escribirlo en dos idiomas, entonces digo "mas tarde, mas tarde", luego mas tarde se convierte en nunca, y heme aquí con fotos que hice hace mas de 10 días!!
Mi hijo yo Yo salimos con su longboard, y a pesar de haberlo intentado, tenía demasiado miedo de subirme, porque cuando era chica me caí de una tabla de skate y casi me rompo el huesito dulce y ahora no me siento segura.

Como ven no tengo mucho que contar, pero en este último tiempo no me he sentido muy inspirada que digamos para vestir; necesito renovar mi guardarropas un poquito, necesito ropa nueva YA porque nunca sé que ponerme y siempre termino usando el mismo jean y las mismas camisetas.
Pero hay días en los que se me ocurre un look como este de las fotos, y me hace sentir feliz; porque tengo esta camisa desde hace 15 años, y solía ser mi favorita por aquella época. Cuando me vine a España no la traje conmigo, pero hace unos meses mi mamá me la envió junto con otras cositas, y estaba super contenta de haberme re-encontrado con mi camisa!! (Sep, tengo este tipo de relación con la ropa, son como amigos para mi!).
Así que..., qué les parece??
