{ GIWEAWAY WON } Balneario Mondariz Sun Creams SPF15 & SPF40.

Today’s post is about two sun creams I won in Truquitos para Las Chicas blog.
They are the Balneario Mondariz Sun Creams, one with SPF15 and the other one with SPF40.


First of all I want to thank Melyssa who hosted the giveaway and, partially, Balneario Mondariz who provided and sent the prize.
But~~ I’m not too happy with one of the creams since it came opened and for what I see, is ruined.

 Son de la marca Balneario Mondariz, una tiene SPF15 y la otra SPF40.


Primero que nada quiero agradecer a Melyssa que organizó el sorteo y, parcialmente, a Balneario Mondariz por patrocinarlo y enviarlo.
Pero~~ no estoy muy contenta con una de las cremas ya que vino abierta y por lo que se ve, está arruinada.

SPF40: Leche cremosa con “5 beneficios en 1”: hidrata, combate el fotoenvejecimiento, protege del sol, proporciona un bronceado uniforme y ejerce una función after sun.
Indicada para todo el cuerpo, incluido el rostro.

Both are made with healing mineral waters.

Packaging: Both bottles come inside a creamy yellow cardboard box with a white protective cardboard. The bottles are designed so the lid is at the bottom, and they are made of plastic so you can squeeze the product out.

And here comes my complaint. While the SPF15 had no problem at all, the SPF40 (the one I was expecting the most since I need high SPF) was all oily and dirty when I took it out the box, and unlike the other one which came in the normal position (with the lid at the bottom), this one came with the lid up, which led me to believe they knew it was in bad condition.
I could’ve ignored the fact the bottle had leaked, but to my surprise the condition of the SPF40 cream was nothing like the other one. While the SPF15 looks creamy, the SPF40 looks like the ingredients are all separated, and to me that means the product is ruined.

Packaging: Las dos botellitas vienen dentro de cajas de cartón amarillo crema con una cartón blanco de protección. El diseño de las botellas hace que la tapa quede abajo cuando las paramos, y están hechas de plástico y así poder sacar el producto apretando.

 Y ahora viene mi queja. Mientras que la SPF15 no tiene ningún problema, la SPF40 (la que yo más quería ya que necesito un alto factor de protección) estaba toda aceitosa y sucia cuando la saqué de la caja, y al contrario que la otra que vino en su posición normal (con la tapa para abajo), esta vino con la tapa para arriba, lo que me hace creer que sabían que estaba en malas condiciones.
Podría haber ignorado el hecho de que hubiese perdido, pero para mi sorpresa, el estado de la crema SPF40 no tenía nada que ver con la otra. Mientras que la SPF15 se ve cremosa, la SPF40 da la impresión de que los ingredientes están todos separados, y eso para mi significa que el producto está arruinado.

I’m very pissed! Because the fact I won it doesn’t mean it has to be expired, opened, half empty or in bad condition.
To me this is quite a negative point for the company because this could happen to anyone who actually buys the product.

I haven’t tried them so I can’t really say if they are good or not, sticky or light, but as you can see in the photos the texture and colour from both is totally different.
The SPF15 was meant for my son but didn’t use it yet, and there’s no way I’m using the SPF40, this goes directly to the trash.

So yeah…, I didn’t contact them since I didn’t actually buy them, I don’t think I’m entitled to do that; but I told Melyssa (the girl from the blog I won the creams from) about this and she told me she would tell them, but I don’t know if she did or if they said anything at all.

Así que estoy bastante enojada! Porque el hecho de haberla ganado no significa que que tenga que estar caducada, abierta, medio vacía o arruinada. Para mi este es un gran punto negativo para la empresa ya que puede pasarle a cualquiera que sí haya pagado.

No las probé así que no podría decir si son buenas o no, pegajosas o livianas, pero pueden ver en las fotos la diferencia entre las dos.
La SPF15 es para mi hijo pero no la usó aun, y no hay chance de que yo me ponga la SPF40, se va directo a la basura.

En fin…, no me puse en contacto con ellos ya que no las compré, y no creo tener derecho a quejarme; pero se lo dije a Melyssa (la chica del blog donde gané las cremas) y me dijo que se lo comentaría, pero no se si lo hizo ni si le han contestado algo.

Esther Calma for diKsí Summer 2013

I was making my collage for today's "Thursday's Favourites" and realized I never blogged about this Spanish shoe designer; Esther Calma.

Below it's her story told by Esther herself on her web, and under that that the Summer 2013 collection she designed for the clothes brand diKsí.
There isn't one I don't like, they are all so beautiful, but some more than others!

Estaba yo haciendo tan contenta el collage para mis favoritos del día de hoy y fue cuando me di cuenta que nunca había bloggeado sobre esta diseñadora de calzado Española; Esther Calma.

Debajo le dejo su historia escrita por ella misma en su web, y mas abajo la colección Verano 2013 que ha creado para la marca de ropa diKsí.
No hay uno solo que no me guste, son todos preciosos, pero algunos mas que otros!

" I was born in Guadalajara and ever since I was a little girl I spent long hours drawing, a habit which I continue to do today. 

When I was in school, I used to draw high heel shoes in the margins of my books. I was only seven, when I showed up to class wearing a pair of high heels. When my mum found out she was shocked but she graciously allowed me to wear hers at home.

I have always known that I would be a shoe designer, which is why I took up fashion studies in Madrid and specialized in shoe design in Elda.

I currently have two pairs of shoes on display Elda's Shoe Museum. One pair was inspired by a witch and the other pair, which was awarded with the Premio Internacional Lapiz de Oro 2006, was inspired by a cat. 

I have worked as a shoe designer for Zara, Sfera and Blanco and last year, I created my own brand, Esther Calma, making one of my dreams come true."

" Nací en Guadalajara y desde pequeña me pasaba las horas dibujando. Confieso que ahora cuando puedo, sigo haciendo lo mismo. 

En el colegio dibujaba zapatos de tacón en los márgenes de los libros, hasta que un día con 7 años… ¡Fui a clase con tacones! Imaginad la cara de mi madre cuando lo descubrió. Tuvo que dejarme unos suyos para estar por casa.

Siempre tuve claro que quería ser diseñadora de zapatos. Por eso estudié diseño de moda en Madrid y me especialicé en diseño de calzado en Elda. 

Actualmente tengo dos zapatos en el Museo del Calzado de esta localidad, uno inspirado en una bruja y otro (Primer Premio Internacional Lápiz de Oro en 2006) en un gato. 

He trabajado como diseñadora de calzado para marcas como Zara, Sfera y Blanco; y el año pasado lancé mi propia marca, Esther Calma, haciendo realidad uno de mis sueños."
