If someone ever ask me if I would live again in Argentina, I would say no, at least for now. If someone ever ask me if there's anything I really miss from Argentina (apart from my family, of course), that would be Alfajores!
An alfajor is a traditional confection that is found in countries of Latin America. Its basic form consists of two round sweet biscuit joined together with dulce de leche or jam and covered with powdered sugar or chocolate.
Here in Spain there is a confection known as alfajor, but it's a different story. And like most of Spanish confections, I don't like it.

AY, no me hablaes de los alfajores que me muero. Tengo muchas amigas argentinas y cuando se iban a casa siempre me traían alfajores. También cuando viví en Los Angeles, tenía al lado de casa un restaurante/pastelería argentina que los vendían. Me encata el dulce de leche.
