I was going to rant about clothes and looks in this post, but since I'm not in ten mood, I'll leave that for another day.
I wore this last Sunday to go for a walk to the woods with my family, I wanted to pick some pine cones to decorate the house for Christmas, something I haven't done yet; I don't know if out of laziness or I just don't feel it this year.
These last days have been a disaster, I'm really, really sad. Last Thursday my husband brought home a puppy that a former employee gave to him since she knew how much he loved the Basset Hound breed. The woman wasn't the breeder, someone gave it to her and then us. The puppy is supposed to be pure breed but is not registered, which is weird (I don't really care about breeds, really, I like mutts better), and it supposedly have all the vaccines and everything else. But when she arrived (the puppy is girl) she was in her bones and looked so tired. Then next day we took her to the vet, just to find out she has parvovirus, which is terrible for puppies since it's a deadly disease.
It's been two days since she's been admitted, and while she's stable and there are no signs of her worsening, the doctors won't say anything to get our hopes high.
Now I'm not only sacred for her, but also for my two dogs, even if they are vaccinated.
I must admit that at first I felt so guilty of getting a puppy with a breed, when there are so many abandoned dogs that need to be adopted (my other two dogs were abandoned and we adopted them). But now, knowing she's ill, if we didn't accepted her and given a chance to live, she'll be probably dead by now.
